A Night at the Movies

At the end of January many of us will be gathering in the city for their annual Skills Development Conference, a great opportunity for all of the ALTs in Miyazaki to share their experiences and expertise with each other. Of course we can’t wait to see you all there, but after this information laden day, why not let your hair down and join us for a night of glitz and glamour on the MAJET red carpet?

Whether you chose to dress as your favourite movie character or dig out that red carpet worthy dress that you never thought you would get a chance to wear, we want you to join us for this sensational night of festivities. With sparkling conversation, plentiful drinks and fabulous (some may say questionable) dancing there will be something for everyone to enjoy!

What: A fancy dress evening with a movie night theme. This means you can feel free to dress up as either your favourite movie character (from any movie and any era!) OR in your best red carpet attire! A mix of Marty Mcflys and Katniss Everdeens alongside suave suits and dramatic dresses… Is there a better combination?

This event is open to EVERYONE (ALTs, CIRs, MAJET and Non-MAJET members alike) so please feel free to invite friends, family, and anyone you feel would enjoy a chance to strut their red carpet stuff!

If you would like to join us for Night at the Movies, please fill out this google RSVP form by Friday, January 15th. If you are planning on bringing a friend to the event please ensure that they also fill out a RSVP form or that you fill one out on their behalf!

Only fill out the form if you will be attending the event. There is no need to submit a form if you do not plan to attend.
