MAJET organizes a variety of events throughout the year. We strive to create a mix of social, cultural, experiential/educational, and volunteer events. Let us know what you want to do, and we’ll do our best to make it happen!

| August 26th, 2017 | MAJET Welcome Party Our first event of the year, the Welcome Party is usually held the weekend after Orientation C. This is a great opportunity for new and veteran JETs to meet their peers. |

2017 Undokai Our students shouldn’t be the only ones to have all the fun on Sports Day! At MAJET’s second undokai, you can have a crack at both traditional and new sports games and activities to take home the prize! Dragon Boat Racing |
| November 11th-12th, 2017 | Mad for Mountains! Once again, we’ll be kayaking in Gokase followed by an evening cabin campout and nabe potluck! On Sunday we’ll head to Shiiba for the annual Heike Matsuri! |

| January 14th, 2018 | Winter Wonderland Ice Skating Grab your skates and hot chocolate for a day on the ice in Ebino. It may still be extremely cold but what a better way to spend it than perfecting your triple axle? |
| February 2nd, 2018 | Midyear Party! Join us for our annual post-Skills Development Conference party! This year’s theme is not yet determined, but we’re sure it’ll be a blast 😉 |
| March 3rd, 2018 | Murder Mystery After the success of last year’s event, MAJET will be reprising Murder Mystery. Bring your candlesticks to the conservatory and don’t trust anyone as you act out a night of suspense and intrigue! |
| April 2018 | The Amazing Race Miyazaki Inspired by the TV show, Amazing Race Miyazaki is the biggest and most exciting event of the year! Teams are required to perform challenges and solve clues in a race around the city. |

MAJET Farewell Party Our final event of the year is also the most bittersweet. The Farewell Party is a chance to celebrate and relive the memories we have with our departing friends and wish them good luck on their future journeys. |
