January marks the middle of the JET contract, and what better way to celebrate half a year in Japan than with a great big bash? ALTs, CIRs, and our Japanese friends gathered from far and wide for MAJET’s Midyear Masquerade! We even had a few people come in from neighboring prefectures 😉 This was certainly an event to remember!
We rented out Weather King, a popular party establishment in central Miyazaki. Around 8:00pm, the guests began filtering in, and boy did they take this year’s theme to heart! There were a variety of masks and costumes to behold.
While MAJET had planned a variety of activities to keep our guests entertained, everyone seemed to do just fine on their own.
We came. We danced. We conquered (the stage).
We certainly had a great time, and we hope everyone else did, too!
You can check out the full album at our Facebook group! (Sorry, you’ll have to be a member of the group to see them.)
Until next time!
