And the Logo Contest Winner is…

June 29, 2015August 31, 2015

The time has come. In just a few moments, we’ll reveal the winning design of the MAJET Logo Contest!

First, we’d like to give a special thanks to the artists. Without their hard work and creativity, this contest would not have been possible. Please give a round of virtual applause to:

Your enthusiasm really shone through in your designs! Thank you for taking the time to make something beautiful for the MAJET community.

We’d also like to thank everyone who voted. Your opinion means a lot to us, and we’re thrilled with how many people participated in both polls!

And now, the winner is…

(drumroll, please)

Vidy Hiremath and his rad surfboard design!

Surf, palm trees, and mangoes—what better representations of our beautiful prefecture? Congratulations, Vidy! Your design is now the new face of MAJET.

However…

The second vote resulted in a tie! The MAJET Team discussed the results as a group, and came to a wonderful conclusion. We’d like to introduce you to our new mascot, Hyuna-chan!

Hyuna-chan

Designed by Alex Boake, Hyuna-chan (日夏ちゃん) will represent the spirit and enthusiasm of MAJET. We’re sure she’ll get into many crazy antics 😉

Congratulations to our two winners!

The new logo will be used on the MAJET website, Facebook page, and other official correspondence. It will also be featured on this year’s MAJET T-shirts!

T-shirt ordering will become available  soon,
so keep a lookout for the post!

Once again, a big thank you to everyone who participated, artists and voters alike!
